The Galveston beach mini session was the 2nd mini session for the Power Team '21. The week leading up to this mini session was rainy, literally every single day. I was crossing fingers and toes that our session on Saturday would be sunny, not only because I was looking forward to it, but also because it is a bit of a haul for all the girls to make if we end up getting rained out. My hubby and I, along with some friends, were already planning on camping in Galveston for the long weekend, so we would be there regardless of the weather.
I really wanted to do a sunset session with the team, but knowing that it would be impossible to cram 6 girls (1 couldn't make it) into their own sunset session, I came up with a different option. I gave the girls the option of signing up for a sunrise time slot or a sunset time slot. Surprisingly, 4 of the girls opted for the sunrise sessions, so that solved the challenge of sunset sessions for everyone. While the morning sessions had gorgeous soft light, the evening sessions sadly had no sunset, there were too many clouds. Even so, all the girls (even the ones in the evening) have pictures that turned out beautifully!
I had some fun adding a bit of imagination to some of their shots as well as some extra shots of colors. I'm loving this team of girls, their sweet natures and their amazing confidence in front of the camera. And, I'm already planning our next mini sessions, can't wait!
